About HABPI

Healthy Adams Bicycle/Pedestrian Action Coalition, Inc. was incorporated in 2005. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. Folks commonly refer to us as HABPI, Healthy Adams Bicycle/Pedestrian, Inc. We worked as a committee of The Physical Fitness Task Force of Healthy Adams County for approximately two years prior to incorporating. Our purpose is to promote health and public recreational opportunities and alternate transportation through safe bicycling and pedestrian activities, both on road and off. Activities include acquiring, developing and maintaining trails and routes. The incorporators were Thomas Jolin, now serving as Coordinator for the Gettysburg Inner Loop Trail; Dennis Hickethier, now serving as President and Off-Road Coordinator; and Kenneth Corbran, now serving as On-Road Coordinator.
